Sustainability

CSX develops new mining opportunities by initiating collaborative local initiatives with governments and communities to ensure environmentally safe and cooperative social, economic and institutional development from exploration and early stage development through production and transportation.  We invest in socially responsible initiatives, which create strong community partnerships that ensure continuity of operations and environmentally dependent relationships with governments and people.

Vigilant environmental programs and ongoing sustainability compliance includes continual monitoring of site-level practices as well as community and environmental initiatives.
